I have had about 4 different posts that I need to put up and just haven’t got around to actually writing them let alone posting them. I have a bunch of posts in drafts, most of them will never see the light of day. Some are just me whining about my career choices and the impact it has had on my life, etc. But those are somewhat personal and don’t have a whole lot of redeeming qualities since I have not managed to resolve my issues yet. I do have a complete thread on Tex Mex food, which needs to be published but I’m not sure if this is the best place for them.
This month has been just as busy as the past moths. Non-working vehicles. Too much time spent on work, not enough time or money to get everything around the house done, but at least I’m keeping up with things that require maintenance. The second water heater to go out this year has now been replaced. I am much more confident in the new ones since they have copper internals rather than the leaking plastic ones they replaced.
The brake job black Betty required was the cascade of parts like it always is but it got done and I will definitely have a write up for that endeavor. The couple of hours I got to spend at the All British Car Day in Boerne was awesome but the people were even better than the cars this year. Amazing, I will be writing that one up too and will elaborate while sharing the few images I remembered to catch.
As far as the Election is concerned, I am happy it is over. I have been advised that “things” will be much better and I certainly hope that is the case. I am going to focus on making sure my family is prospering in every way shape and form, and taking advantage of every opportunity that comes our way.
I am planning on spending some more time with my parents and working on the set of articles / book of gems known as “Sh!t my mother says”. It’s a doozy.
So that’s it for now, I have plenty to work on and using this new keyboard with my iPad is a game changer. I am writing this at the bar of the Italian restaurant by the house. Not a bad place to hang, at least not during happy hour.
